How to use JSIGNAL — AI-summarized EDINET disclosures for Japanese equities, in Japanese and English. For how the AI works, see the AI explanation page.
JSIGNAL focuses on filings from EDINET (Japan's statutory disclosure system, run by the FSA): annual & quarterly securities reports, extraordinary reports, large-shareholding (5%) reports and tender offers (TOB) — the substantive, hard-to-read statutory filings, summarized in JA/EN by AI. Note: TDNET timely disclosures (e.g., earnings flash / kessan tanshin) are NOT included.
1. Getting started
- Register with your email, agree to the terms and AI disclaimer, then verify via the email link to start your free trial.
- Language: switch between Japanese and English anytime with the language toggle in the top navigation.
- Personalize: set your investor profile (experience, risk tolerance, country) from account settings for tailored display.
2. Dashboard
Your home screen shows the latest AI-summarized disclosures, recent disclosures for your watchlist, and key stats. Each item carries badges (sentiment / risk / growth / signal tags) so you can scan the market at a glance.
3. Report AI Screener
The core list of disclosures (formerly "Disclosures" + "AI Screener", now unified). Browse everything chronologically and filter to find investment signals:
- Keyword (company / title) and summary keyword (searches the AI summary text)
- Document-type presets — one click for Annual Report, Semi-Annual, Tender Offer, Large Holding, Buyback, etc.
- Sentiment, signal tag, growth score (4+/6+/8+) and growth driver filters
- Date range, AI-analyzed only, watchlist only
- CSV export (Pro and above)
4. Reading the badges
- Positive / Neutral / Negative — AI sentiment of the disclosure.
- Risk — risk factors extracted; tooltip shows count and average severity (0-10).
- 📈 Growth 7/10 — AI growth score (0-10); tooltip shows the outlook.
- Signal tag — event type (earnings, buyback, M&A, guidance up/down, etc.).
- Growth driver — growth driver type (volume, pricing, new product, capacity, etc.).
